Specification

Fire Rated Wall Access Panel or Ceiling Access Panel – Manufactured from 1.2mm Zintec Steel, with a polyester powder coating of matt white RAL 9010 20% gloss. The recessed metal door has a factory fitted plasterboard infill with a beaded edge detail, concealed hinges and is secured using a three-way locking system.

Fire

The APD.PB.BF/FR60/120 access panel has been successfully tested to give up to 1 hour integrity in a ceiling system and 2 hours for a wall system. All in accordance with BSEN 1634-1:2008 and BSEN 1363-1:1988. Fire rated access panel have intumescent strips fitted on the frames – please DO NOT interfere with these seals.
